Melvin Sternberg has been practicing family law in Arizona since 1961 – the youngest lawyer to pass the bar in Arizona at that time. Mr. Sternberg specializes in complex family law matters involving child custody and access, relocation, child support, spousal maintenance and the division of community assets and liabilities. Having an extensive background in accounting, finance and business has enabled Mr. Sternberg to successfully litigate numerous complex and high value cases over the years which have required the use of custody evaluations, business valuations and forensic accounting. Mr. Sternberg also has extensive experience and is an expert in cases involving complex family law issues, including accounting and tax issues.

Mr. Sternberg graduated from Arizona State University with a BS in Accounting. He then went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from the University of Arizona in 1961 as the youngest graduate in his class. Mr. Sternberg has been a certified specialist in Domestic Relations since 1992 and is rated “AV” by Martindale-Hubbell.
